1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain... Who Made the Cut?
The London Stock Exchange has just released the second edition of its '1000 Companies to Inspire Britain' report, and some notable QSR's made the cut.
The report aims to identify the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses which it does by looking at the profitability compound annual growth rate of each company over a four year period, and comparing it to its industry peers, then blending this result with a check of the company's credit health.
The chains that made the cut included Itsu, Patisserie Valerie, Barburrito and Wahaca
Writing in the report, Chancellor George Osborne said "this is a remarkable list of outstanding companies. These businesses have been built by the drive, commitment and vision of Britain's entrepreneurs and business leaders. It is my privilege to be able to congratulate them all".
