Cambridge-based cafe to trial ‘cannabis coffee'

The combination is set to be tested next month.

A cafe based in Cambridge is set to trial coffee that is mixed with a a cannabis-based supplement.

In a report by The Mirror, supplement company FutureYou will provide the cannabidiol (CBD) to the said cafe. CBD could help in reducing stress and anxiety. Earlier this year, the company launched the capsule CBD OIL+

"All over the world, people are using CBD – often in pharmaceutical doses – to address their health issues. CBD acts on endocannabinoid receptors that affect mood. Some people claim that it helps them to reduce stress and anxiety," Dr Nicholas Shenker, FutureYou’s medical advisory board member, said.
