Chipotle offers free burritos and meals in April
The promo aims to capture the UK’s £1.7b burrito market.
Chipotle is running two free food promo events this April.
Chipotle Mexican Grill UK is giving away free burritos on National Burrito Day and free main meals to London Marathon finishers later in April.
The fast-casual chain will offer a free, fully customisable burrito to the first 100 customers at each UK restaurant on Thursday 2 April, coinciding with National Burrito Day.
The promotion comes as the UK now accounts for 23.3% of the European burrito market, which was valued at over £1.7b in 2025 and is forecast to reach £2.8b by 2034.
Meanwhile, on 26 and 27 April, all 2026 London Marathon finishers can claim a free main meal by showing their medal at any Chipotle restaurant, extending the chain’s existing support for the UK running community through partnerships with Strava and local running clubs.
Chipotle has 21 restaurants in the UK.
