Döner Shack named UK's top fast-casual franchise in Elite Franchise Top 100
Berlin street-food concept Döner Shack has been named the UK's number one fast-casual franchise in the Elite Franchise Top 100.
The rankings were compiled from hundreds of entries across all sectors and recognised businesses according to their financial performance, heritage, contribution to the community and innovation.
Döner Shack co-founders Sanjeev Sanghera and Laura Bruce said they were "incredibly proud" of the recognition.
"We have always embraced technology and innovation to enable us to deliver a flawless, convenient and enjoyable experience to our customers," said Sanghera.
The franchise industry contributes more than £17b ($22.9b) to the UK economy.
