Chipotle will bring back its Chipotle Honey Chicken to UK restaurants from 28 April after its 2025 debut became the chain’s top-performing limited-time menu item.
The dish features grilled chicken marinated with chipotle chillies and finished with honey, combining heat with a mild sweetness.
Interest in “hot honey” has risen in the UK, with online searches and social media contributing to its spread, particularly amongst younger audiences.
The item will also be offered in the UK for the first time as part of the chain’s High Protein Cup, giving customers another way to customise meals.
Its return comes as Chipotle continues to introduce new menu items and expand flavour offerings in the UK.
The dish will be made with halal-suitable chicken at selected locations.
