KFC hints at potential return of Double Down burger
The popular offering was notable for using chicken as buns.
KFC has potentially hinted that the Double Down burger may soon return to their menu.
A short-term promotion, the offering was notable for using two pieces of fried chicken as its bun while having bacon, cheese and barbecue sauce.
The hints were given at a light exchange between KFC UK and Ireland’s Twitter account and Bristol Live digital editor Luke Beardsworth
“There’s been so much excitement for the Double Down since it first launched to the US in 2010. It’s sold out in every country that it’s been released in,” KFC UK & Ireland Innovation Director Jack Hinchliffe said previously during its initial launch.
