McDonald's launches The Grinch Happy Meal
It will be available until 31 December.
McDonald’s has partnered with Dr Seuss to launch its ‘The Grinch’ Happy Meal, which will be available until 31 December.
Each Happy Meal could include one of five plush Grinch toys, a special “Grinchy Tales Twelve Days of Grinchmas” book, or one of three Grinchy games: Grinchy families & pairs, Grinchy snap & match, and Grinchy charades.
The Grinch himself will also be making his way to over 150 McDonald’s restaurants across the UK.
Those dining in restaurants will benefit from Grinch-themed activity sheets alongside restaurant activation kits with Grinch flags and headbands, whilst drive-thru customers will receive a Grinchmas Family Fun Pack including a Christmas card activity, festive board game, and crayons.
Children can also participate in a Grinch mission accessible via Grinch-themed digital play design using tables and tablets in selected restaurants across the UK and Ireland.
Whilst playing the game ‘A Grinchmas Surprise,’ families will need to help bring Christmas to Who-Ville by decorating the town with Max and the Grinch.
Aside from this, launching on 23 December, families will be able to access Reindeer Ready Live, an augmented reality tool that allows parents to film a reindeer in their living room and show the reindeer eating the treats left out on Christmas Eve.
Reindeer Ready treats will also have a Grinchmas twist, with carrot sticks available in a Grinchy design.
