Popeyes launches wedding catering service

The fast-food chain went famous for catering for Beyonce and Jay-Z’s wedding in 2008.

Popeyes will now offer wedding catering services to couples across the UK for the first time.

In 2008, the chain famously catered for the wedding of Beyoncé and Jay Z.

The new wedding catering service will be open for enquiries from 25th July, taking bookings from now until the end of 2024, and enquiries can be made via the Popeyes website for nearly-weds across the UK. 

To celebrate the launch, Popeyes will be holding an event to cater a wedding for one lucky couple for free.

To enquire, lovebirds are cordially invited to pop the question to Popeyes by heading to its official page popeyesuk.com/wingsandrings, to submit their details. Following their enquiry, to enter the competition couples will be asked to share why they deserve to win this extraordinary wedding catering experience for free. Whether it's a heartfelt story, a unique connection to Popeyes, or simply an undeniable love for their famous Louisiana chicken, Popeyes wants to hear from couples who are passionate about adding a touch of Louisiana hospitality to their special day. 

The gifted menu will be bursting with Popeyes’ infamous Chicken Sandwiches, Hot Wings, and Southern biscuits for up to 150 guests. 

Popeyes is not the only fast-food chain entering the wedding catering industry. In Indonesia, McDonald's has started offering couples a US$230 (£178.59) wedding catering package.
