Taco Bell puts on free Airways concert
The Mexican food chain joined forces with local Peterborough four piece; Airways, to welcome student back to Sheffield by hosting a local gig.
On Friday 23rd September, the Airways band performed on the second story of the Ecclesall Road Taco Bell restaurant where students and locals from the area can enjoy the live music, along with their made to order Taco Bell favourites.
This will be the second live show in the Taco Bell Ecclesall Road, following on from Neck Deep performing at the restaurants Grand Opening two years ago.
Brian Moroney of Airways said “We’ve always been such big fans of Taco Bell, and we’ve seen the great connection between the brand and local musicians in the US. We thought it would be cool to do a Taco Bell tour so reached out to the guys, and they said yes! We’re so stoked to be doing this show in Sheffield.”
Speaking about the show, Ellen Gault, Marketing Manager – Taco Bell UK & Europe said, “We are lucky to have such talented fans in the UK. When Airways reached out wanting to do a Taco Bell tour, there was no way we could say turn them down, and what better an occasion to celebrate than welcoming the students of Sheffield to the new uni year?”
