Greggs to trial vegan ham baguette, sausage breakfast roll

A wider launch is planned for later in the year.

Greggs is trialling two new vegan items in its menu.

“Over the coming weeks we’ll be trialling our delicious Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette and Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll in a very small number of shops, with a wider launch planned for later in the year,” a spokesperson told QSR Media in a statement.

The move follows the launch of the Vegan Sausage Roll in 2019, and its Vegan Steak Bake and its first vegan doughnut last year.

The Vegan Sausage Breakfast Roll is made with vegan savoury sausages made with Quorn mycoprotein whilst the Vegan Ham and Cheeze Baguette features vegan ham with Quorn mycoprotein and mature Cheddar flavour slices.
