Chop'd serves up steamed eggs

The brand is using a steam arm to make scrambled eggs in under 30 seconds.

New Chop'd freshly steamed eggs will be launching on World Egg Day on Friday 14 October 2016 for just 10p (usual price £2.95).

The 'Chop'd method' for scrambled eggs involves topping the freshly steamed eggs with a choice of fresh ingredients, like baby spinach, gammon ham, hot smoked salmon, avocado or Comté cheese.

Managing Director of Chop'd Eddie Holmes said, "Using a steam arm to cook eggs is a genius idea. It makes the lightest, fluffiest scrambled eggs you've ever had in record time! They're perfect steamed for 30 seconds, but customers can get them steamed for longer or shorter, depending on how they like their eggs.”
