EAT. launches new Christmas food range
EAT. unveiled its new Christmas food range, featuring the return of Pigs in Blankets.
The new menu will be on sale from 16 November. The range aims to inject a festive flourish into the high street and the menus at all of its sites.
The range includes the following:
Pigs in Blankets Pot (£2.50, dairy-free)
Six British sausages wrapped in maple-cured bacon. Served in a pot with EAT.'s own cranberry sauce.
Brie & Truffle Mac 'n' Cheese (from £5.50, vegetarian)
Festive mac 'n' cheese with creamy Brie and truffle, topped with cranberry sauce and breadcrumbs.
Veggie Festive Bloomer (£3.75, vegetarian)
Festive mushroom, chestnut & walnut stuffing with spiced carrot ribbons, roasted parsnip puree, spinach and cranberry on seeded bloomer bread.
Festive Full Works Bloomer (£3.95)
Turkey breast, smoked ham, herby pork & sage stuffing, cranberry sauce and spinach on seeded bloomer bread. Also available in a baguette (£4.50).
Festive Full Works Turkey, Parsnip & Pancetta Hot Pot (from £5.50)
A creamy festive stew made with turkey, parsnip and Italian pancetta served with mashed potato and crunchy winter slaw.
Spiced Roast Vegetable and Freekah Hot Pot (from £5.50, vegetarian and dairy-free)
Tomato, roasted aubergine and roasted butternut squash combined with red chilli, freekah and spices in this veggie Christmas hot pot. Served with crunchy winter slaw.
A Pigs in Blankets Breakfast Roll with Chipotle Sauce (£3.50, dairy-free) and a Pigs in Blankets in Mustard & Ale Onion Hot Roll (£3.95) will also feature on the menu.
Sweet treats for the Christmas season are available in flavour combinations like the Merry Mincemeat Crumble Bar (£1.65): an all butter shortbread topped with cranberry mincemeat and an all butter crumble; and the Cranberry and Almond Slice (£1.65): almond frangipane packed with juicy cranberries, topped with toasted almonds. Alternatively, opt for lighter option, Clementine, Blackberry & Redcurrant Pot (£2.69): a seasonal citrus and berry delight.
EAT.'s famous Handmade Mince Pie is available for just £1 when purchased with any hot drink (usual price £1.35), while the Caramel Spiced Latte, made with fresh espresso coffee, silky milk, sweet caramel and chai syrup (from £2.35), is available to wash it all down.
