KFC partners with Dead Man’s Fingers to launch first liquor product
The drink is named the 11 Herbed and Spiced Rum.
KFC UK & Ireland has partnered with rum brand Dead Man’s Fingers to launch its first-ever liquor product.
The new product joins KFC’s secret herb and spices with notes of the rum brand’s Cornish flavours.
The recipe is a secret but KFC said it managed to balance the herbs and spices with the rum brand’s Cirbush flavoured spiced rum with whispers of caramel, vanilla, treacle toffee, and nutmeg.
The creation of the new product is in line with KFC’s celebration of National Rum Day on 16 August. KFC fans could try the product on 1 and 2 September at a pop-up Chicken and Rum Shack in Margate, offering free chicken to anyone who attends. The seaside pop-up will feature Dead Man’s Fingers-approved cocktails, including Zinger Punch, The Colonel’s Colada and Fingers Lickin’ Good, all made with Dead Man’s Fingers rum.
