Ole & Steen rolls out festive menu

The bakery chain will also be releasing a limited-edition gift for the season.

Danish bakery and coffee chain Ole & Steen will launch its winter menu across all UK stores on 4 November, featuring seasonal versions of its pastries, breads and drinks.

Items include a gingerbread version of its Cinnamon Social, a Honey Heart chocolate biscuit based on a traditional Danish Christmas treat, and a Christmas Tree Muffin topped with cream cheese icing. Sticky Toffee Pudding and Mince Pie will also be available for take-home occasions.

The lunch range adds a turkey toastie with sprouts, bacon and cranberry slaw, a plant-based mushroom melt, a fig and goat cheese Danish, and a Christmas Star Bread variation of its sourdough. Drinks on offer will include gingerbread and caramelised almond lattes, a caramelised almond matcha latte and a gingerbread hot chocolate.

Alongside the menu, Ole & Steen is selling limited-edition gifts such as socks, a Jul candle created with fragrance brand Skandinavisk, and a cinnamon-infused chocolate bar. Gift cards and catering trays will also be available for workplace and group orders.

Ole & Steen opened its first UK bakery in London in 2016 and now operates 26 sites nationwide.
