Pizza Express adds twist to its Christmas offerings

Aside from the new offers, the Christmas Specials 2017 menu will see classic dishes make a resurgence.

It includes a Beef & Horseradish Romana pizza with sliced potatoes, and a sweet and salty Maple-Glazed Gammon Romana. The Snowball Dough Balls and Caramel & Pear Gelato dessert will make their annual return to the menu.

The Christmas offerings also include a vegetarian pizza option. The Potato & Fontal Romana is inspired by a rustic pizza recipe found across Italy where thinly sliced potato is served on pizza, with a ‘white’ base. ‘Retro’-style dishes have made a comeback this year with the Roasted Tomato Soup and the Chicken Liver Pâté.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks options have also been crafted this year for the season. The Chambord Royale returns to the Christmas menu combining light Italian prosecco with fruity black raspberry Chambord.
