Pizza Express to launch Christmas Specials 2017 menu
The menu will see classic retro dishes make a resurgence.
This Christmas, Pizza Express will add a ‘twist’ to its British yuletide offering with Beef & Horseradish Romana pizza, and Maple-Glazed Gammon Romana.
The Christmas Specials menu, available from the 21st November 2017, will see classic retro dishes make a resurgence ranging from Chicken Liver Pâté to Roasted Tomato Soup. The Snowball Dough Balls and Caramel and Pear Gelato dessert will make their annual return, as well.
The British festive favourites will be given a twist on the Pizza Express Christmas Specials menu. The new Beef & Horseradish Romana will take the staple winter dish of roast beef with horseradish sauce and roast potatoes on a passata base with red onion and fresh rosemary.
The vegetarian pizza option, the Potato & Fontal Romana, is inspired by a rustic pizza recipe where thinly sliced potato is served on pizza, with a white base.
Pizza Express’ dessert selection this year will focus on the Italian classic Gelato.
Two (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) drinks options have been crafted to add on to the Christmas offering.
