Popeyes UK launches Honey BBQ range to exploit BBQ demand

Seven in 10 said the smell of barbecue improves their mood.

Popeyes UK has launched its new Honey BBQ range with burgers, fries, and a new dipping sauce following new research from the brand that says 66% of Brits plan to barbecue ahead of the official start of summer.

The line is led by the Honey BBQ Sandwich, made with a chicken breast coated in Popeyes’ shatter-crunch coating, topped with Honey BBQ sauce, pepper jack cheese, crispy onions, pickled jalapeños, ranch, and served in a brioche bun. The Honey BBQ Superstack adds a hash brown to the sandwich.

The Honey BBQ Box Meal includes the Honey BBQ Sandwich, a choice of two tenders, three hot wings, or four boneless chicken pieces, plus fries and a drink. The Honey BBQ Wrap contains two chicken tenders, Honey BBQ sauce, lettuce, and tomato in a toasted tortilla.

The Kids Honey BBQ Chicken Sandwich includes a smaller chicken sandwich with a chicken tender, Honey BBQ sauce, and lettuce, served with fries or salad and a drink.

The range also includes Honey BBQ Loaded Fries, made with Cajun fries topped with cheese, Honey BBQ sauce, crispy onions, and pickled jalapeños, and the Honey BBQ Big Dip, a 160ml serving of Honey BBQ sauce.

The new range is now available nationwide.
