Pret A Manger brings back Christmas sandwich for a limited time
The chain will donate 50p for every Christmas sandwich sold to The Pret Foundation.
Pret A Manger’s Christmas sandwich has returned this July for a limited time, the company said, aiming to “bring some festive cheer” to customers.
Available in Pret shops nationwide from 6 July until the first week of August and via Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat, the chain is celebrating the launch with a new video featuring Slade lead singer Noddy Holder heralding the return of the sandwich.
He will also be handing away 100 Christmas sandwiches to customers of Pret’s 182 Wardour Street store in London from 11am on 6 July.
Served up with thick slices of British turkey in a port and orange cranberry sauce, the Christmas Sandwich is filled with a pork stuffing, baby spinach leaves and is finished with a dab of free-range mayonnaise and topped with crispy onions.
Pret confirmed that the sandwich will be back by the festive season this winter.
50p from every Christmas sandwich sold will also be donated to The Pret Foundation, the company said.
“Every year customers ask us for the Christmas sandwich to return earlier and earlier, and after many customers missed out on having one last year we’ve decided to stand by our mission of spreading joy through our food and coffee, and bring our iconic Christmas sandwich back early for a limited time this summer,” Pret A Manger UK managing director Clare Clough said in a media release.
