Subway extends jacket potatoes Spudway trial until September

A rise in sales and customer visits was seen at its trial sites since February.

Subway is extending the Spudway trial until September 2025, following the increase of both same-store sales and guest traffic across its 170 UK trial locations since its launch in February.

Top-selling options include cheese and baked beans, tuna mayo and cheese, and taco beef and cheese.

The jacket potato trial is part of a broader push to enhance the overall guest experience, drive more traffic to restaurants, and help increase profitability for franchisees.

In addition to its ongoing menu innovation, Subway continues to enhance its guest experience by opening new restaurants, rolling out its new Fresh Forward 2.0 restaurant design, and expanding digital tools such as self-serve kiosks and its Subway App.
