Wimpy rolls out spicy menu with new dining format and deals
Menus have also been simplified, with separate booklets for breakfast, kids, and desserts.
Wimpy has launched a new menu across the UK, offering a mix of new dining formats such as shared meals served in reusable baskets.
The brand said that it will still serve food on china plates for dine-in customers.
The new menu includes the Hot N Loaded burger, featuring a beef patty, strips of breaded chicken fillet, and sliced jalapenos and habanero sauce; a new meat-free Spicy Bean & Slaw burger, now incorporating a habanero slaw mix over beans and a spiced patty; and the Ultimate Griddle Platter, featuring a mix of grill plate favourites including pork Bendy frankfurter, alongside battered onion rings and a new mini corn on the cob.
Loaded cheesy chips, plant-based breaded strips, a new Wimpy Club toasted sandwich, and a classic baked potato are also part of the lineup.
The dessert section now includes churros in various forms, a caramel apple pie, cheesecake, and the return of the Brown Derby doughnut.
Menus have been simplified, with separate booklets for breakfast, kids, and desserts.
The Kids’ Menu features a cost-conscious Kids’ Combo meal presented in a food basket and marks the return of the Mr. Wimpy character, relaunched to coincide with 2024’s 70th anniversary celebrations.
Amongst the activities and puzzles featured on the menu is a drawing competition, with parents encouraged to post children’s artwork on social media, where one entry will be chosen to feature on the next menu.
Other updates include a new fixed-price "Make It a Meal" option, a Coffee Thick Shake, and a Sunday breakfast deal offering unlimited hot drink refills.
