Nando's unveils new menu items for summer
Nando’s has expanded its menu to include new summer dishes including a Quinoa & PERi-Tomato salad and Smoky Churrasco baste.
The restaurant chain has added a Quinoa & PERi-Tomato salad to its menu of salads. The new dish is a mixture of lettuce and semi-dried PERi-tomatoes with quinoa, lightly salted pita croutons and feta in a lemon and wild garlic dressing.
The salad is available on its own or as a side dish to share with friends and family. Diners can also opt to add Grilled Halloumi for a double cheese fix, flame-grilled Boneless Chicken Thighs or a Butterfly Chicken for extra protein or skip the feta and add PERi-PERi Plant Strips for a plant-based hack.
Nando’s offers up a variety of ways to get in the BBQ mood, from their selection of bastes to their flavourful marinades.
The restaurant also launched a new baste, called Smoky Churrasco, which offers a ‘rich smoky kick’ for its dishes. Nando’s said that PERi-PERi fans will like this new baste, which replaces the Mango and Lime. It has been described as Hot on the PERi-ometer.
The Smoky Churrasco baste combines flavors of its African Bird’s Eye Chilli with notes of grilled tomato and paprika with a hint of lemon and garlic. It pairs well with a flame-grilled ½ Chicken, Grilled Chicken Wrap or Spiced Chickpea Burger.
The new menu items are available until Friday, 9th September 2022.
The restaurant chain has also announced that it is adding calorie information to its menus so that diners will also be able to check how many calories are in the meal they have chosen and find the right meal that fits their diet and lifestyle.
