Awesome Chips sees 20% boost in January sales

All three shops served a total of 15,000 portions of chips alone in January.

Awesome Chips reported a 20% increase in like-for-like sales in January compared with last year.

Roni Dalal founder of Awesome Chips said that they served over 15,000 portions of chips alone in January, an increase of 20% compared to the same month last year.

“Chips offer a value-for-money meal and topped with our sauces, rubs and spices the awesome combination is too tempting to resist!  We have ensured our shops are in visible locations with a high footfall and now consumer confidence is returning to the high street following the Pandemic, the quality, affordability and wide appeal of our top-class product is attracting repeat customers despite the cost-of-living crisis,” Dalal said.

The chips chain is planning to open five new restaurants before the year is over
