Birds Bakery’s names exclusive coffee partner
The bakery is also investing in new machines for 26 of its stores.
Birds Bakery has named 200 Degrees Coffee as its exclusive partner.
This means all of the East Midlands stores of Birds Bakery will only serve coffee from the specialist coffee roasters.
“We’ve been working with 200 Degrees since 2018, and thanks to a rising demand for coffee spots in towns and cities due to a thriving coffee culture, we have made them our exclusive supplier across all stores where we sell hot drinks,” Lesley Bird, chief operating officer at Birds Bakery, said.
Recently, Birds Bakery invested in brand new machines across 26 of its stores. The machines use fresh milk and locally roasted coffee beans that are freshly ground for every coffee.
Birds Bakery has 61 stores across the region including Nottingham, Derbyshire, Staffordshire and Leicestershire. Many Birds products can also be ordered online and delivered to customers’ homes using the Birds By Post service.
