Caffe Nero opens first £1.2m drive-thru outlet at Stansted Airport
The brand will be targeting travellers dropping off or picking up passengers.
Caffe Nero will open its first drive-thru coffee shop at Stansted Airport this spring.
The drive-thru will be located 500 yards from the main terminal building on the main road into and out of the airport. The new unit will offer a convenient drive-thru for anyone dropping off or collecting passengers or those on their way to or from longer-term parking.
It will be over 1,200 sqm in size, and operate for 24 hours a day. It will have an EV charging station and parking for customers. Caffe Nero invested £1.2m for the new outlet which was built from scratch with a bespoke design
Available to any customer, whether an airport user or not, and coupled with the convenience of drive-thru, the store has been specifically designed to offer customers a warm, friendly store, fitted with cosy wood pockets, elegant seasoning and lightning and deli food.
The new drive-thru investment will also strengthen and expand Caffe Nero’s partnership with Stansted Airport.
The total number of Caffe Nero outlets in the airport will now be at five.
