Casual dining Gusto Italian to open doors in Oxford
Customers can start booking their slots as early as now.
Casual dining restaurant group Gusto Italian is opening its doors to diners in Oxford on 1 December.
Gusto Italian will open on the former site of the historic Mitre Pub on the High Street. Bookings are now live for the restaurant’s High Street venue, where they will be open for brunch, lunch, dinner and drinks.

The 170-cover dining room will feature an open-plan Theatre Kitchen as well as a cocktail lounge and bar serving Gusto Italian signature drinks and classic cocktails. Upstairs there is a private 60-cover dining room available to hire for events, parties and celebrations.
Gusto Italian’s new restaurant will also offer its Pizza Experience. Groups between six and 10 people will enjoy four courses whilst getting a chance to make their own sourdough pizzas and cannolis in the two-hour experience.
The restaurant will serve contemporary Italian dishes on its à la carte and set menus. Gusto Italian has also launched a brand-new wine list with 50 handpicked Italian wines.
Founded in Cheshire in 2005, Gusto Italian has 14 restaurants (including Oxford) across the UK offering a contemporary Italian menu.
