Domino’s opens fifth supply chain centre in Avonmouth

The new site will support an additional 1,000 deliveries per week.

Domino’s Pizza Group announced the opening of its fifth supply chain centre in Avonmouth near Bristol, investing £25m to increase its supply chain capacity.

The new site will support 600 Domino’s restaurants and increase Domino’s delivery capacity by 1,000 per week.

The site will transition to next-generation automation in early 2027, introducing advanced handling systems that increase accuracy, efficiency and consistency across the network. These technologies will help drive further efficiency in loading and unloading boxes, supporting Domino’s focus on operational excellence as a core driver of growth.

“SCC5 is an important investment in our infrastructure, giving us capacity, efficiency, and the resilience we need to support our growing business. It adds meaningful headroom as we continue to expand, whilst automation will help us operate more efficiently and maintain the consistently high service levels our franchise partners rely on,” Peter Trundley, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Domino’s Pizza Group, said.

The Group has invested in its supply chain for more than 40 years, and it consistently achieves 99.5% order accuracy and 99.99% availability of its ingredients.

Domino’s said the SCC5 builds on that track record and is a key enabler of its strategy to grow the core business across the UK and Ireland.
