Dum Dum Donuts opens new Brentford facility
This will support new store openings over the next five to ten years, with several planned for 2026.
Dum Dum Donuts has opened a new bakery, innovation hub, and training facility in Brentford as part of its return to expansion.
The opening coincides with the launch of a new Wembley Park site in late December 2025 and signals the next stage of the company’s growth plans.
The new facility is intended to support store openings over the next five to ten years, with several new locations scheduled for 2026.
It will also be used for product development, with a focus on adapting the range to changing consumer tastes.
“We’re incredibly excited for 2026,” said Paul Hurley, founder of Dum Dum Donuts. “We’re now fully prepared to grow again in a new landscape with different consumer demands and financial realities.”
Founded in 2014, Dum Dum Donuts made its name with a store at Boxpark Shoreditch and was credited as London’s first baked doughnut concept.
Signature products include the Zebra Croissant Doughnut, Crème Brûlée Doughnut, and the Yum Yum.
The business later secured listings with Harrods and Selfridges and expanded beyond London, opening sites in Brighton, Dubai, Windsor, and Birmingham.
Expansion plans were put on hold during the pandemic, when the company reduced its operations. The latest openings mark a restart of growth.
The family-owned business says it now has the capacity to open over 10 stores a year, alongside plans to grow wholesale partnerships and introduce nationwide direct-to-consumer delivery from the second quarter of 2026.
