Just Eat share price climbs as group beats profit loss prediction

The food delivery group is predicted to earn €225m this year.

Just Eat Takeaway saw its share price climb by 4.1% after the group reported underlying full-year earnings of €16m, against expectations of a €105m loss.

This is despite orders falling by 12% in the fourth quarter to 239.8 million, missing the estimate of 261 million orders, a survey by Bloomberg said.

The food delivery group is expecting earnings to reach €225m in 2023.
