KFC set to trial first delivery-only kitchens

The first one is due to open in London.

KFC announced it is trialling its first delivery-only kitchens in the UK.

The first kitchen is due to open in London, the company said, with further trials being phased in over the rest of the year.

Each kitchen will create 30 new jobs, KFC said, designed to take pressure off existing restaurants.

The announcement follows KFC’s recently opening its 1,000th restaurant in the UK.

“We’re excited by the potential of our delivery-only kitchens, ensuring our fans get their fried chicken fix in good time whilst also creating more job[s] and improving the experiences of KFC team members and delivery drivers,” said KFC chief development officer James Whitehorn.
