Poppies Fish and Chips to open 4th restaurant in West London

The location will feature nostalgic touches in salute to its original founder.

Fish and chip restaurant Poppies will be opening its fourth restaurant in London at Portobello Road this December.

The new site features Poppies iconic atmosphere and design and will have a maximum of 64 seating capacity. The design will of the new restaurant will also give a node to the site’s former occupants from wood panelling from its term as a bank and signage from when it was George Portwine’s butcher shop.

The new restaurant will also have additional retro touches in tribute to the original founder, the late Pat ‘Pop’ Newland.

Other Poppies restaurants are located in Spitalfields, Soho and Camden.
