Pret A Manger takes on drive-thru with new Warrington site
Inside, the shop seats up to 48 people and includes EV charging points.
Pret A Manger has launched its first drive-thru outlet in Warrington, introducing a new store format for the chain.
The site has been developed with Motor Fuel Group, which already operates several Pret locations, as the company looks to grow its footprint in travel hubs across the UK.
Pret currently runs 220 outlets in airports, train stations, and motorway service areas, including 35 managed by Motor Fuel Group.
Located near junction 21 of the M6, the new branch is aimed at both passing motorists in northwest England and local residents.
The drive-thru features a single lane with a digital menu board.
Inside, the shop seats up to 48 people and includes EV charging points and customer toilets.
The menu includes Pret’s standard range of freshly prepared breakfast and lunch items, such as croissants, tuna baguettes, and chicken salad, along with snacks like bars and popcorn.
Coffee made from organic Arabica beans is available, along with other hot and cold drinks, including smoothies.
Drinks come in a 12oz and a new 16oz size, with non-dairy milk options offered at no extra charge.
