SIDES surpasses £1m revenue in a week for the first time
The brand has six restaurants in the UK.
Fried chicken chain SIDES has announced that for the first time, it has surpassed £1m in revenue in a week six months after opening its first dine-in restaurant in the UK.
Initially launched as a delivery-only service, SIDES has since expanded into food courts, high street restaurants, and, most recently into retail with a launch of quality meat-snacking products into Tesco, and a full range of products exclusive to Iceland.
“Since the Iceland announcement earlier this month, we've experienced a significant increase in foot traffic to our restaurants, driven by a rise in brand awareness,” Robin Mehta, CEO of SIDES said.
SIDES has announced it plans to grow its restaurant count from six to twenty within its first year, including launching in some more major UK shopping centres.
SIDES launched in 2021, to become the UK’s home of British-born fried chicken. The brand was created by YouTube collective the Sidemen, initially for delivery only, but now has six UK restaurants and a frozen range in Iceland stores.
