
Subway global same-store sales climb by 9.2% in 2022
The chain said it focused on menu innovation and store modernisation for the year.
Subway revealed that its same-store sales shot up by 9.2% compared to 2021 and increased by 29.1% compared to same-store sales in 2020.
The sandwich chain restaurant also reported double-digit growth in digital sales around the world, compared to 2021, and more than tripled since 2019.
The financial statement comes after a report by the Wall Street Journal said it is exploring the sale of the business that could value at $10b.
