EXCLUSIVE: Learn about Pizza Hut's new black card
The VIP Black Card entitles the holder to free meals at the pizza giant for a whole year.
Following similar programmes run by the likes of Nando's, Pizza Hut have now launched the card as a reward to their most loyal fans.
Instead of being a one off promotion, the cards will be given out throughout the year, and Pizza Hut have not set a limit for the amount of cards they will be giving away - insisting that the final tally will depends on the quality of the entries they receive.
Famous Pizza Hut fans including Chris Stark, Ashley James, and Georgia Kousoulou have claimed their cards over the past week. Plus, influencers such as YouTube star Deji and grime MC P Money, whose music was used in PHR’s world first playable pizza box DJ decks last year, have also received one. The brand has reportedly received a huge number of entries so far, from varying ages and backgrounds.
Head of Communications Gareth Hopley said, “We know other brands prefer to be secretive about their cards and only give them to celebrities but we wanted to give back to our loyal fans too and show how much we appreciate them.“
Each VIP card will offer holders access to £100 worth of free food and drink whenever they visit. They can choose and order any items from the menu, including Hut favourites such as Philly Cheese Steak, Pepperoni Feast and Chicken and Bacon Club Flatbread, desserts including salted caramel cookie dough and beverages such as Prosecco or Oreo milkshake.
So far, customers have been really keen to get involved and the entries have been coming in thick and fast via social media.
