Caffe Nero gives away 10,000 cups of coffee

The promo will go on until October 20.

Caffe Nero has announced they will be giving away 10,000 cups of coffee in celebration of reaching 10 million stamps that have been awarded to customers through their loyalty payment app.

Those interested can enter by making a transaction through the app that includes a hot drink. Customers will then see a digital “Wheel of Fortune”-style game for them to spin and see if they’ve won.

“10 million stamps is a major milestone for our business and we’re extremely proud. Since launching the app last year, we’ve had over half a million downloads, with customers earning over 1 million free drinks,” Marcus Denison-Smith, head of marketing at Caffè Nero, said.

The chain’s loyalty program allows customers to pay using their debit or credit card through the app. It then rewards them with a free drink for every 9 stamps collected.

Caffe Nero has also recently launched their KeepCup, where the cup, lid and plug are all recyclables. It also gives customers a free coffee voucher.
