Greggs grants student's wish for a ‘Welcome Back' to Uni party

The High Street shop transformed into a nightclub for over 50 students in just 3 hours.

Following a recent Facebook post from 21 year-old Nikki Gardner, a University of Birmingham student, to throw a ‘Welcome back to Uni’ party for pals at her local Greggs - the high-street retailer transformed one of its shop into a nightclub.

Gregg’s Birmingham’s 41 High Street site was filled with a sound system and club lighting, as well as inflatable doughnuts and pizza slices, confetti canons, free savouries and plenty of doughnuts.

Nikki, an International Relations Student, was also granted a VIP guest list for her friends to gain entry to the ‘one night only’ pop-up club. Clubbers partied to sets from local radio DJ Dan Kelly and The University’s DJ society, Mix Soc.
