Amazon reportedly launching first UK checkout-free shop

Amazon Go outlets use sensors and cameras to track customers, allowing them to be automatically charged once they leave.

This Is Money reported that Amazon is launching its checkout-free shop in the UK.

The e-commerce company is said to have acquired a property in London to be its first Amazon Go convenience shop outside of America.

So far, ten Amazon Go shops have been operational in the US. The shops use sensors and cameras to track customers as they pick up items, automatically charging them for their shopping when they walk out.
