Costa Coffee extends mobile ordering service across 500-plus stores

The mobile ordering service is available through the chain’s app.

Following its trial across 111 London stores, Costa Coffee announced it is rolling out its mobile ordering service to over 500 participating stores.

The service, available through the Costa Coffee Club app, allows customers to pre-order their beverages for collection and identifies their nearest participating store. The app also allows customers the choice to easily re-order their favourite orders.

Prior to the wider rollout, Costa Coffee says the earlier trial in London enabled them to “understand the order patterns of their customers and enhance the customer experience”.

Costa says payments can be made through the app using both credit and debit card details, with options for digital VAT receipts to be sent via multiple channels.
