Crosstown founder launches on-demand ordering platform

Slerp was being developed since 2016.

Crosstown founder JP Then announced the launch of a new e-commerce platform specialising in on-demand ordering.

Dubbed “Slerp”, Then says the e-commerce platform was born out of Crosstown’s need to “develop a relationship with customers and provide a direct-to-consumer ordering technology”, offering on-demand delivery and pickup.

“In many ways, our function is similar to marketplaces such as Deliveroo, however we are not a marketplace and we have no intention of being one. It's your customers, your data, your checkout experience, your settings, your way, and without the heavy commissions - Slerp is about giving you back control of your brand,” he explained.
