Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay now available nationwide
The coffee chain announced the national launch of its Mobile Order & Pay app, available in 300 UK stores.
Following the successful launch on iOS in London stores last October, the mobile app is now also available to customers with Android devices. The news coincides with an international roll-out in Canada and follows the nationwide roll out in the US last year.
The Mobile Order & Pay feature allows customers to order drinks and food on their phone before arriving in store, offering greater convenience and the ability to customise their order while skipping the queue.
Following confirmation, orders are immediately sent to the chosen local Starbucks store where baristas begin preparing the order and an approximate collection time is sent to the customer to pick up their order directly from their barista – skipping the queue. Users of the app have opportunities to earn stars towards free drinks and exclusive rewards with the My Starbucks Rewards loyalty programme.
