Wagamama launches first ever one-stop shop app for staff

The Woksapp gives staff access to benefits, wellbeing platforms, cycle to work schemes, and more.

Looking to change the way how staff access information at work, Wagamama has launched its first ever digital one-stop shop app.

Dubbed “Woksapp”, the new app is based on Fourth’s Engage App and has been in development for over a year, allowing staff to instantly check their rota, view payslips, swap shifts and book holidays.

It will also give them access to benefits, wellbeing platforms (Buddhify), GP helpline, cycle to work schemes, discounts on high street brands, policy documents and human resource information, whilst acting as a peer to peer messaging tool (yapster).

The app was also designed to be environmentally friendly and create a paperless work environment.

“We’re offering our teams a single sign-on app which enables them to access all of their wagamama essentials on their device, whilst providing our business with a direct communications channel to engage with all of our people,” Wagamama head of internal communications Ed Austin said in a media release.
