Return of the Red Cups...It Must be Christmas!

Starbucks Christmas themed cups back in-store.

The red-cups which the coffee chain has been using in their stores globally are now in their 17th year.

Originally designed to generate excitement during the Christmas period, they are now a mainstay.

The idea for the theme of this year's holiday "Let there be bright" came from Stephanie Vandenack a writer on Starbucks Creative team.

Speaking of the design, Vandenack said "The big idea is that when we all come together, we are stronger and brighter... You can see that notion expressed in the vitality and movement in the holiday cup design".
