Pizza Hut Restaurants unveils major refurbishment at Swindon site

The £337,000 restaurant makeover will create 10 new jobs for the area.

The newly redesigned Hut is located at Greenbridge Retail Park, Stratton Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN3 3SG.

Part of the new, interactive design includes a central preparation station offering a range of desserts including warm cookie dough, and a self-service soft drinks hub allowing guests to refill drinks at their leisure. A new menu will be rolled out in the revamped Hut which includes chicken wings, Kentucky style BBQ ribs, and new additions to its warm cookie dough.

Restaurant Manager Kerry Harding said, “The new makeover is amazing! All of design elements really stand out as soon as you walk through the door and I’m confident guests will be really impressed. We’ve introduced funky wall displays and have a brilliant new lighting scheme that really comes to life in the evenings. On top of that, our brand new menu is packed with tasty dishes like the new Mac ‘N’ Cheese Stuffed crust sharing Pizza and the Kentucky style BBQ ribs.”

Hut’s team member Chelsie Richards said, “We all love the new makeover. The new booths are perfect for large groups and families and the new design creates a really welcoming and fun atmosphere. In addition, the new menu is great – the S’Mores Cookie Dough is really tasty!”

The investment in Swindon is part of a broader £60 million refurbishment and restructuring programme for the business, secured through private equity investment from Rutland Partners in late 2012.
