The Italian chain aims to enter the retail sector with the partnership with the grocery chain.
Bella Italia, operated by Casual Dining Group, has announced that they partnered with the grocery chain Tesco to launch their ready-made meals.
The new range includes starters, mains and desserts options such as Funghi Arrosto, Carbonara Pancetta, Conchiglioni Calabrese, Beef and Red Wine Ravioli and Tiramisu.
“We’re delighted to be partnering with Tesco, to bring an authentic taste of Italy to homes across the UK. We’re restaurant operators at heart, with a rich heritage, but we also have a wealth of experience that can be utilised to tap into other markets, such as retail,” James Spragg, chief operating officer of Casual Dining Group, said.
“As well as focusing on menu innovation and creating exceptional dining experiences, we’re also determined to evolve and find new ways to capitalise on our expertise and experience. We are confident that the rigorous testing and quality control measures we have put in place with Tesco will guarantee an end product we’re both proud of.”
Yo! Sushi have also recently partnered with Tesco to have their to-go offerings in the grocery stores.
