Casual Dining Group reopens Center Parcs restaurants
Employees have undertaken health and safety training ahead of reopening.
The operator of the Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge restaurant brands has reopened a number of its concession sites located at Center Parcs villages across the country.
In an announcement, Casual Dining Group (CDG) said six sites have reopened as Center Parcs welcomed back guests following a four-month hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. For a limited time, the six restaurants will offer a specially curated menu for delivery and collection only.
CDG operates 12 restaurants, primarily split across its Café Rouge, Bella Italia and Las Iguanas, within Center Parcs locations at Whinfell Forest, Sherwood Forest, Woburn Forest Breaks, Elveden Forest; and Longleat Forest.
The other six restaurants will reopen on 27 July, whereupon all sites will resume full restaurant service, accommodating walk-in customers or those with a reservation. In addition, five Café Rouge sites will also offer a full-time delivery and collection service.
Ahead of reopening, all employees are said to have undertaken training in health and safety, cleaning and hygiene procedures “to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.”
