The Asian-inspired QSR chain has 70 locations, whilst the luxury dessert brand is currently located in 19 sites across the UK.

Itsu and Heavenly Desserts are opening their restaurants in Stratford early next year.

The two food chains recently signed leases with Lendlease and LCR’s International Quarter London.

The Asian-inspired QSR chain will open a 2,640 sq ft store offering sushi, salads and soups. It currently has 70 stores across the UK.

Whilst the luxury dessert brand Heavenly Desserts, currently operating 19 sites across the UK, will open its first eatery, a 1,500 sq ft restaurant with 70 covers and patio seating.

“Starting as a Midlands-based operator, we expanded to the North of England and we are very keen for our luxurious dining experience to be part of this new focal point for the rapidly growing East London scene,” Heavenly Desserts managing director Yousif Aslam said in a statement.

“We are committed to bringing a balance of local, London based and national brands to East London’s new dining, leisure, and social hub,” Lendlease head of retail Guy Thomas said about the brands’ plan to launch in their business quarter.
