Leon Outlines UK Expansion Plans
The fast food chain is gearing up to expand after celebrating its 11th birthday last week.
Looking to bring “Fast Food in Heaven” to the whole of the UK, the brand said that its regional expansion begins in September with a flagship site in Birmingham New Street station.
CEO and co-founder John Vincent says, "I've been looking at a lot of US competitors and brands in the UK. They either stay at 10 sites and eventually disappear, or they go from 10 to 200. It's like going to secondary school. This is our 11+."
The brand is targeting cities that have a thriving community of students and young professionals.
Vincent said that that Leeds, Bristol, Cambridge & Oxford could be seeing Leon stores opening over the coming 12 months.
