Notes Coffee launches eco-friendly coffee pods
The biodegradable coffee pods have a 12-month shelf life.
Speciality coffee roaster Notes Coffee has launched a range of its premium, single-origin coffees in pods, which are compostable and biodegradable and compatible with Nespresso coffee makers.
The first set of pods released are Notes’ Ethiopia roast from Bokasso Cooperative in Sidamo and decaffeinated coffee from Colombia. They will also set to offer Honduran coffee pods in the future.
The launch, according to Notes, marks the first time operators and consumers can fully access compostable and biodegradable coffee pods in the UK.
Notes expects to launch every new coffee in capsule form to complete the line-up.
The pods can be bought from Notes’ 10 coffee shops around London and online.
