PizzaLuxe secures £1.5m investment to launch two more stores
VC firm Edition Capital now owns a minority stake in the pizza company.
PizzaLuxe announced it has secured £1.5 million equity investment from Edition Capital to launch two more stores in the year.
The VC firm, in exchange, now owns a minority stake in the pizza company.
New stores are set to launch at Halle Place in Manchester Arndale and at The Light in Leeds within the year. Also, the fast casual concept’s existing Trinity Kitchen store is slated for refurbishment.
The new investment will also see the fast casual brand’s expansion growth in travel locations. The company currently trades in a franchised outlet in Manchester airport, operated by SSP.
“Thanks to Edition’s support, we are now well placed to take PizzaLuxe forward to its next stage of growth,” founder Paul Goodale said in a statement.
As part of the deal, the pizza concept will be supported by new banking facilities provided by NatWest Commercial.
