Splendid Restaurants-backed COLUCO comes to Tring and Thame
The Thame venue will be home to the brand’s cookery school.
A new café and bar concept is coming to both Tring and Thame.
Splendid Restaurants, the group behind COLUCO, will transform two sites previously held by Jack & Alice wine bars to launch the new ventures.
The Tring outlet opens following refurbishment last March 21 whilst the Thame location has opened its doors with a new menu and refurbishment planned for later in the year.
Brunch dishes from the all-day concept include smoked haddock kedgeree and pancakes with blueberry compote and crème fraiche with coffee from local roaster Flying Coffee Company. It will also have a daily-changing selection of cakes, which will include vegan and gluten-free options.
Finger sandwiches, scones, jam and clotted cream will also be served as part of the traditional afternoon tea. Evening items include seasonal menus of sharing bowls, burgers, arrabiata pasta, beef rendang and daily specials.
In addition to all-day dining, the Thame venue will be home to a cookery school, which will be facilitated by a roster professional chefs.
COLUCO will also offer a curated choice of wines, craft beers, champagne, spirits and classic cocktails such as margaritas and martinis. Bookable cocktail masterclasses and wine tastings will be also available.
